His attack hit it's mark and Venza was knocked away a few inches, but he was able to deflect Goku's trademark technique and the beam was sent behind him and exploded in thick, black smoke. Piccolo was eagerly prepared for another attack which was sure to come at him, probably an angry outburst from Venza who seemed to despised Namekians just as much as Frieza did, this did not anger Piccolo since he was used to them insulting his race, though he did his best to defend his race's honour because he was a proud Namek but he did not underestimate his opponents.

As fast as lightening Venza looked at Piccolo and appeared behind him, so fast that he barely had anytime to dodge. He only had enough time to look behind him and he saw a sharp sword appear and was closing in on him, near enough to stab him and possibly finish him. But then Gohan sparked and his power level suddenly increased, Piccolo was astounded and impressed by how it had instantly boosted, but he couldn't explain how or why he suddenly powered up like that. His questions were soon answered because Gohan snapped and striked Venza squarely in the face knocking him back. Giving Piccolo enough time to escape and stood next to Gohan intending to give him help, but the youn half-saiyan did not require his aid because he fired the Kamehameha wave which seemingly finished of Venza. as he ws sent up in the air and he was vaporized.

Piccolo watched in amazement, he was proud that his pupil had developed into a strong young warrior and he might be stronger than himself. But then he sensed that his PL had decreased to it's original level, Piccolo guessed that it increased because Gohan was angered, he smiled to himself as he remembered when Gohan flew into a rage and severly damaged the Saiyan Raditz, and that encouraged him to train Gohan but he still had much to learn. "Maybe...your strong enough already, Gohan...you don't need anymore lessons from me." he tried to smile as he said it, he had several flashbacks on when he first began training with him. Those were some good times but now he had to focus on dealing with Frieza and he was determined to bring peace back to the earth.
